Arriva Trains Wales As one of the 26 rail companies within the UK our commitment is to safety and security, quality, punctuality and cleanliness. To help us achieve this we have a fleet of 116 trains covering a route of over 1,009 miles, supported by 1,860 employees. We operate 788 services a day on weekdays, resulting in our trains travelling 13.7 million miles each year. On average, our services handle around 60,000 passenger journeys a day, with the ability to carry over 12,000 customers at any one time.
