Llangollen Railway We have reopened a section of the former Ruabon to Barmouth route in North Wales that was closed in the 1960s. Our heritage trains now operate at weekends for most of the year, and all week from April to October. During the summer, most trains are steam-hauled; at other times diesel locomotives or railcars may be used. The route runs from Carrog to Llangollen. Railroads of United Kingdom
